Education and Training- We believe that education is the most effective prevention method. We provide education and training for schools, the public service sector, and in the community as a whole. Through outreach and education it is our goal to create a community with zero tolerance for domestic violence.
Moms and Kids Club-
The Mom’s and Kid’s Club is a twelve-week parenting class for moms and
kids impacted by domestic violence. The program aims to rebuild the
relationship between mom and child that has been torn apart by the abuse.
Moms meet together while the children meet in age appropriate groups with
one-on-one facilitator support.
Resources
and Referrals- Resources and referrals are a vital part of our support
and services. There are many wonderful services in our community and we take
our referrals both to the center and to other agencies very seriously. We
believe it takes an entire community to support a family, and we believe
collaboration and seamless services are the key to helping families thrive.
